I opened up for Donavon Frankenreiter back on his 2013 summer tour….just after that I won a national based voting contest to play alongside artists like Toby Keith, Brantley Gilbert, Kip Moore, and many others at the Gulf Coast Jam. After my summer success, I had a great fall and went on my own national tour that took me all over the midwest and northeast. Most recently, I had an extremely successful week at SXSW and was invited to play a show with the Ten Out of Tenn group here in Nashville…including Trent Dabbs, Amy Stroup, Ks Rhoads, and Matthew Perryman Jones here in Nashville. This past spring I opened up for Katie Herzig on her “Walk Through Walls” tour.
I play music because it’s how I feel. I like to make people dance. I’m an extrovert that needs to let my emotions out somehow, and music/songwriting is my greatest benefactor. I draw much inspiration from my time and experiences in the part of the world known as Vacationland – Maine – where you can sit and read a Stephen King book in the same small town in which he so terrifyingly writes about. That being said, my songs are for the most part, happy. With three EPs coming in 2014, I hope to convey my passion for music to all who come to listen, dance, and sing along. I recently finished my college education at Belmont University and can now be found on the streets, bars, and music venues of Nashville, Tennessee.
