NEON Music Management

Have You Heard?

The best venues around New England have great things to say about their decision to work with our music management company.

WKLB is Boston’s #1 Country Station and has been a finalist or winner of the National Country Radio Station of the Year multiple times in the last five years, but at our core, we are still a local station. We have been supporting and helping to raise visibility for local artists since we began. When Matt started New England to Nashville (NETN)for songwriters and later NEON Music Mgmt. for artists, we were very early partners with both and it’s been a great relationship to build upon we do with local artists. NEON helps us select and  book artists for our charity events, opening acts for big concerts,  our Parking Lot Parties and WKLB Fest at the Xfinity Center and our Street Festival and pre-parties behind Fenway Park. NEON supports these events with poster design and social media outreach. They also help us build local  content, collaborating  with us on features like  “The Local Catch With Carolyn Kruse.” We look forward to continuing to work with NEON on new and exciting initiatives to support local musicians and songwriters.

“I featured  an amazing local artist on my Mix 104.1 “15 Seconds of Fame” program named Keelan Donovan. Matt works closely with Keelan as part of his New England to Nashville (NETN) songwriting group and reached out to me and since then we have  kept in regular touch and featured many NETN and NEON artists such as Alec MacGillivray, Casey Derhak, Jenna Lotti, Emily Hodges and Matt himself, since he is a songwriter.
My radio program features the biggest international  pop/rock stars songs, but I am very passionate about supporting local artists and I know what a thrill it is for them to hear their songs on major radio.
Matt is such a strong advocate for young artists so working with NETN/NEON  is a great match and I am looking forward to collaborating in the future in other ways such as a local music event/festival”

Vere (Hill) is a wonderful performer; our guests could not stop raving about him! The team at Neon was responsive and accommodating and made the entire process seamless. We would not hesitate to book him again.

We were looking to take do something different for our 2017 Summer Roof Deck Music Series. Last summer we had featured DJ’s and we wanted something that would not be as loud but still have great energy and complement the great vibe, cocktails, cuisine and view we have at sundown for our guests at the Colonnade. Matt promised me that he could bring in some of the finest local musicians and some touring from Nashville of many  genres….country, blues, pop, even  reggae. Now the guests and the staff look forward to Thursdays even more than in past Summers on the roof deck.

My “Sunday Country Brunch” Singer became unavailable suddenly, and I called Matt to see if he could get me a replacement and he said “I can get you someone great and someone different every Sunday if you want” and since then we have had amazing singers every Sunday, some local and some touring here from Nashville. As The Rivershed has expanded its music program , building a stage and putting in a house system, we have expanded our relationship with NEON to having their artists /bands play weeknights and weekend nights and we even launched the first Rivershed Music Fest in partnership with NEON this year. I’m a singer songwriter myself who travels to Nashville and the fact that Matt is as well makes it very easy for us to work together because we share the same passion for music. It’s different than working with someone who is just a booking agent but not deeply involved in the music/songwriting community.  He got into booking to help the artists he works with on all aspects of their musical journey. I have some big expansion plans and looking forward to partner with NEON as we grow.
